ABOUT

Inspiration Lodge

The History

The lodge and adjacent home were built in the early 90’s and the lodge was at that time a Bed and Breakfast. The property sold several times and 5 years ago was purchased by the House family from Texas. At that time the land had been left with the devastation of the Beetle Kill trees and the property
was in need of care. Since that time the family has made sure that the dead trees have been mitigated.

You will still see slash piles as the permits per year for burning are limited and the mitigation continues. The investment in the land ensures the reduced risk of fires plus new growth of beautiful healthy aspen and pine. This valley has been nicknamed the Golden Valley because of the amount of Aspen
turning in the fall. The interior of the lodge welcomes you with the repurposed Beetle Kill wood now with it’s beautiful blue/grey natural staining.

The renovation will continue, but the furnishings are new with a beautiful family room, lower game room, workout room, massage room, and the commercial kitchen and four bedrooms. Each bedroom has a fireplace and private bathroom. Original art by Marjorie Cranston and Chris Giroux enhance the home. Both live in the valley area and will also be teaching at the lodge.

Premiere Experience

Those that live in the area have taken a special interest in the property.

Marjorie Cranston lives on the mountain overlooking the ranch and she is your hostess, lodge manager and will be teaching pastel
at the lodge throughout the year.

Jenny Martin lives in the area and is the massage therapist for the lodge. She can schedule you for a 60-minute or 90-minute
massage and offers Swedish, deep tissue, and warm Himalayan Salt stone massage. Her number is 303 919-7101.

Your stay can include a private chef or catering. Please contact Marjorie in advance to help you with scheduling.
